CAMP Systems and Traxxall are maintenance tracking services built mainly for business aviation: corporate flight departments, charter and management companies, and helicopter operators. Both pair software with analysts who keep your aircraft data current. SkyPlannerHub is a different kind of product: a cloud ERP for aviation companies that covers maintenance, stock, HR, CRM and finance, and that we tailor to each company. If you want analysts to track your business jets for you, CAMP and Traxxall are the natural choice; if you run an MRO or an operator that wants maintenance and the rest of the business in one platform, SkyPlannerHub is worth a look.
The information about CAMP and Traxxall comes from their official public pages, as of November 2026. If something has changed, tell us and we will correct it.

What CAMP Systems is
CAMP describes its Aircraft Health Management (AHM) as a platform for tracking, planning and managing scheduled and predictive aircraft maintenance. AHM brings together four solutions: Maintenance (MTX), Engine Health Monitoring (EHM), Inventory Management (IMS) and Flight Scheduling (FS). CAMP serves a large installed base in business aviation; its pages give different fleet figures depending on the product, so check the current number with CAMP. Its company page says it is privately held by Hearst.
The key feature is the service model. On its maintenance page, CAMP says its analysts "review, assess, and apply Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins for you", and it offers 24/7 on-call analyst support. Customers who prefer to manage this work themselves can use the AD/SB Manager. CAMP also offers a Maintenance Program Manager, eWork Order with ezSign for paperless sign-off, a document manager and a mobile app.
CAMP does not publish prices. Its AHM page states that pricing depends on the aircraft type, the fleet size and the solutions you need.
What Traxxall is
Traxxall is a maintenance tracking and inventory platform. It started in Montreal and was acquired by JSSI in December 2021. Its official page, now hosted by JSSI, describes maintenance tracking with compliance forecasting and dashboards, electronic workflows with eSignature, work plans, digital logbook entries and checklists.
The Traxxall Inventory Manager is integrated with maintenance tracking and work plans, and an Orders module handles purchase orders, repairs, shipping and core exchanges. A mobile app lets crews report discrepancies and MELs. Traxxall also offers an API for integration with other systems, and AviatorMX, a separate product for Part 91 owner-operators of light jets and turboprops.
Traxxall states that it supports more than 4,000 aircraft worldwide. Its analyst team is available 24/7, and onboarding takes about 30 days from enrollment to activation. Traxxall does not publish prices; you request a quote for your aircraft.
Where CAMP and Traxxall are stronger
An honest comparison starts by recognising the strengths of the other side.
- Analysts who do the tracking work. If your flight department does not have a maintenance controller, an analyst who knows your aircraft type and applies new ADs and SBs is a real advantage. SkyPlannerHub does not offer an analyst service: your team keeps the data current.
- Business aviation depth. Both have long experience with business jets, turboprops and helicopters. CAMP states that it is the only solution recommended by every major airframe OEM in business aviation, and it partners with Cessna through its CESCOM division.
- Templates for many aircraft types. Traxxall states that it supports hundreds of types, and its onboarding includes a quality audit against core templates. A ready-made template for your type saves set-up work.
- Engine health monitoring. CAMP EHM tracks and trends engine performance with its own analysts. SkyPlannerHub does not offer an equivalent service.
- Maintenance programme and MEL tools. CAMP has a Maintenance Program Manager, and the Traxxall mobile app handles MELs. These are specific tools that our product copy does not claim.
If you operate one or a few business aircraft and want someone else to keep the maintenance status current, CAMP or Traxxall will probably fit better than SkyPlannerHub.
Tracking model: analyst-backed vs self-service
With CAMP and Traxxall, part of the tracking work is a service. You send records or sign-offs, and the analysts update the status and research ADs and SBs. The system is the result of a shared process between your team and theirs.
With SkyPlannerHub, your team records the work in the system as it happens. Our work orders and task cards carry digital sign-offs, and when the work is certified, the system checks that the technician holds the licence and type rating for that aircraft. The AD, SB and life-limited parts module tracks directives and bulletins by aircraft and component, and controls LLPs by cycles and hours, with alerts before each due date or limit.
Neither model removes the legal responsibility. In the United States, 14 CFR 91.417 requires the owner or operator to keep records of the current status of life-limited parts and applicable ADs, among others. In Europe, point M.A.305 of Part-M in Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 requires an aircraft continuing airworthiness record system. An analyst helps, but the approved organisation or the owner still answers for the records.
Scope: maintenance tracking or the whole business
CAMP and Traxxall focus on maintenance tracking and the activities around it: inventory, work orders, documents and, in the case of CAMP, engine monitoring and flight scheduling. Their official pages do not describe HR, payroll, CRM or accounting. For those areas, you will need other systems.
SkyPlannerHub is an ERP, so it covers more ground on the same platform:
- Inventory: real-time stock of parts, tools and consumables, with traceability by serial number, batch and certificate.
- MRO and shop: heavy checks, repair and overhaul of rotable components, with orders, times, warranties and traceability of every intervention.
- HR: time tracking, shifts, holidays, absences and overtime.
- Technician licences and training: Part-66 categories, type ratings, NDT qualifications and training records, with expiry warnings.
- CRM: customers, contacts and opportunities with their full history.
- Finance: budgets, expenses and invoicing, with Spanish e-invoicing (Verifactu and FacturaE).
- Customer portal: your customers check the status of their work orders in their own portal.
- RFID traceability under ATA Spec 2000 for parts and components.
For an MRO that sells hours and parts to customers, this matters. The hours a technician books on a work order are the same hours that reach HR and the customer invoice. Read MRO software vs ERP for more on this choice.
Customisation
CAMP and Traxxall are standard products shared by thousands of aircraft. You configure due lists, filters, checklists and reports, and Traxxall offers an API to connect other systems. That is a strength: the product is stable and the analysts know it well. The limit is that your process must fit the common model.
SkyPlannerHub is designed to fit each company, at two levels:
- Per-company configuration: custom fields, configurable states and transitions in maintenance workflows, your own forms and automations, and modules you switch on only when you use them.
- Specific features for your company: when a process does not fit the configuration, our team builds that feature inside the platform. The request goes straight to the people who build the product.
Data migration considerations
Changing tracking systems is the riskiest step in any project. Your opening status, from total times to LLP life and AD compliance, must be correct on day one. Traxxall describes an onboarding in which its analysts extract data from your records for import, followed by a quality audit. CAMP offers onboarding assistance and AHM Enhanced History Enrollment, which turns aircraft records into a searchable digital archive. SkyPlannerHub offers secure data migration from legacy systems as part of our integration services.
Whichever system you choose, check these points before you sign:
- Who extracts the data from your current system, logbooks and spreadsheets?
- How is the opening status reconciled against the physical records, and who signs it off?
- Which data comes across in a structured form, and which only as scanned documents?
- How are recurring ADs and their last compliance migrated?
- How long will you run both systems in parallel?
- If you leave later, in what format can you export your data?
Which one fits your organisation?
CAMP Systems fits better if you run a corporate flight department or a managed fleet of business jets or helicopters, you want analysts to apply ADs and SBs for you, and you value engine health monitoring and OEM recognition.
Traxxall fits better if you are a corporate, charter or management operator who wants self-service tracking with analyst support, integrated inventory and orders, and a mobile app for discrepancies and MELs.
SkyPlannerHub fits better if you are an MRO, a Part-145 shop or an operator that wants maintenance, stock, HR, CRM and finance in one platform, your procedures do not fit a generic model, or you need a team that tailors the software to your company.

Frequently asked questions
Is SkyPlannerHub a replacement for CAMP or Traxxall?
Not always. If you need analysts to track your aircraft, SkyPlannerHub does not offer that service. If you want your own team to manage maintenance in a system that also covers stock, HR and finance, SkyPlannerHub can replace a tracking service plus several other tools.
Do CAMP and Traxxall publish their prices?
No. As of November 2026, both ask you to request a quote. CAMP states that its pricing depends on aircraft type, fleet size and the solutions you choose.
Can an MRO use SkyPlannerHub alongside a customer's CAMP or Traxxall?
Yes. An MRO often works on aircraft whose owner keeps tracking in CAMP or Traxxall. The MRO runs its own work orders, stock and invoicing in SkyPlannerHub and delivers the sign-offs and records to the owner. Ask us about the exchange format for your case.
Does an analyst service transfer the regulatory responsibility?
No. Under 14 CFR 91.417 in the United States and Part-M in Europe, the owner, the operator or the approved organisation remains responsible for the records. An analyst helps you keep them current, but you must still check them.
Conclusion
CAMP Systems and Traxxall are strong, proven choices for business aviation operators who want analyst-backed maintenance tracking. SkyPlannerHub is a different kind of tool: a cloud ERP for aviation companies that want maintenance and the rest of the business in one platform, tailored to the way they work.
