MRO Europe is the largest aviation maintenance event in Europe. Aviation Week Network organises it every year, and in 2026 it returns to RAI Amsterdam from 27 to 29 October. According to the organiser, it brings together more than 630 solution providers and over 11,500 attendees from airlines, MROs, OEMs and the parts aftermarket.
This guide collects the practical information you need to plan your visit. It also includes a checklist to evaluate MRO software on the show floor, because three days of demos go by fast. SkyPlannerHub is not exhibiting at MRO Europe 2026. We wrote this guide for the maintenance teams we work with, and for anyone comparing systems this autumn.
Dates and opening hours
The event has two parts that overlap on Wednesday: a senior-level conference with more than 30 speakers, and the exhibition.
| Day | Conference | Exhibition |
|---|---|---|
| Tuesday 27 October | 09:30–17:30 | Closed |
| Wednesday 28 October | 10:00–13:30 | 09:30–17:30 |
| Thursday 29 October | — | 09:30–16:00 |
Thursday closes earlier. If your main goal is the exhibition, plan your key meetings for Wednesday and leave Thursday for follow-ups.
Venue and how to get there
The venue is RAI Amsterdam, Europaplein 24, 1078 GZ Amsterdam. Getting there by public transport is easy:
- Train: Amsterdam RAI station is about 300 metres from the venue. It has a rail link to Schiphol station, so you can reach the show from the airport by train.
- Metro: line 52 runs from Amsterdam Centraal and Station Zuid to Europaplein.
- Tram: line 4 stops at Europaplein.
Hotels near RAI and Zuid fill up quickly in show week. Book early, or look at areas with a direct train or metro to the venue.
What you will find at the show
The exhibition covers the whole maintenance aftermarket: components, engines, airframes, parts distribution, engineering services, logistics and software. Besides the stands, the programme includes:
- The conference, with senior speakers from airlines, MROs and OEMs.
- Go Live! Theater, with free content on the show floor.
- MRO Europe Meet-Ups, for organised networking.
Check the official agenda on the MRO Europe website before you go. Sessions and speakers are published there, and they can change until the last week.
How to evaluate MRO software at the show
Several maintenance software vendors usually exhibit. Published previews of the 2026 exhibitor list include Swiss AviationSoftware (maker of AMOS), Ramco, TRAX, Veryon and FLYdocs, among others. Check the official exhibitor list for the final list and stand numbers.
A stand demo is designed to impress in fifteen minutes. To compare systems fairly, bring the same questions to every vendor and note the answers.
Before the show
- Write down three real cases from your organisation: for example, a non-routine finding during a check, a deferred defect close to its limit, and a component removal with its traceability.
- Define your scope: line maintenance, base maintenance, component or engine shop, CAMO, or several at once.
- Book meetings in advance. Booked demos usually get more time and a more technical person than walk-ins.
Questions to ask every vendor
- Regulatory framework: does the system support EASA Part-145 and Part-CAMO, FAA Part 145, or both at once for different customers?
- Work orders and task cards: can technicians sign task cards on a tablet next to the aircraft? Does the system check the signer's authorisation for that task and aircraft type?
- Traceability: how are part number, serial number and certificate of conformity linked to each intervention?
- Deferrals: how does the system track MEL deferrals and warn before they expire?
- Implementation: how long does a typical implementation take for an organisation of your size, and who migrates the historical data?
- Customisation: can the workflows adapt to your MOE and procedures, or must your procedures adapt to the software?
- Total cost: licences, implementation, training, hosting and support for the first three years, not only the first one.
After the show
Ask each shortlisted vendor for a second demo with your three real cases and your own data. The differences between systems show up in your processes, not in the standard presentation.
Future editions
According to the organiser, MRO Europe 2027 will take place in Amsterdam from 19 to 21 October 2027, and the 2028 edition will move to London, from 2 to 4 October 2028.
Can't make it to Amsterdam?
Not every maintenance team can spend three days at a show. SkyPlannerHub is a cloud ERP for aviation maintenance organisations: line maintenance, base maintenance, and component and engine MRO. If you are evaluating systems this autumn, get in touch. We will run the demo with your own cases, online and with no booth noise.
